We botch our own stunts.

The Others Are Dead, Steve (T.O.A.D,S. for short, comma intentional) are a London-based rock and/or roll five-piece hailing from the scattered corners of Ireland, Greece, Bulgaria and Milton Keynes.

They are:
- Steve (not dead, guitar)
- Kat (not dead, mouth noises)
- Ash (dead, the bigger looking guitar)
- Mark (dead, country licks)
- Iosif (dead, hitting things in order)

Starting out as a socially distanced songwriting project, the current incarnation of T.O.A.D,S. has been space-hoppering its way across the sweaty, sticky-floored indie scene since late 2021, having recruited Iosif in the role of drummer (and provider of life-affirming vocal harmonies on the occasion of a rare T.O.A.D,S. ballad moment).

Highlights include playing main support for The SoapGirls in one of legendary Nambucca's last shows before closure, partnering with punk heroes Eater on their '23 comeback tour, and making their festival circuit debut at Ampthill Festival.

They’ve kept busy releasing a stream of punchy and diverse singles including ‘The Inevitable March of Disco’ (about a totalitarian regime run by people obsessed with the Bee Gees), BBC Introducing pick ‘Cats Can Fly’, and Planet Rock track of the week ‘Gen Z’.
